Custom made Wool Felt Curtains
The "Classic" model consists of a wool felt made from 75% virgin wool and 25% viscose.
The grey-melted colour can be used anywhere and is therefore our best-selling curtain.
We recommend a felt thickness of 2 mm for passageways, doors, room dividers or windows in living areas.
For garage, workshop or restaurant doors / windows, a 3 mm felt thickness is more optimal.
The "Classic" model is only available in the colours grey and white.
Our curtains are made to measure. The maximum width of a curtain / partial curtain to be covered is 1200 mm. If the width of your area to be covered is
larger, several partial curtains can be produced and sewn together or left as partial curtains.
The maximum height of a curtain is 3500 mm. Larger heights are special projects that we are happy to handle for you - create an account - upload photos of your project to the shop - we will call you back.

The "Classic" model is made of felt with 75 % virgin wool and 25 % viscose. This makes the curtain dimensionally stable for life.
The standard thickness is 2 mm. On request, the curtain can be 3 mm thick. Select the thickness when ordering.
Colours: Classic Grey and Classic White
The curtain can be fitted with stainless steel eyelets, brass eyelets or burnished eyelets and hung on a 28 mm rod (see accessories)
Alternatively, sewn-in glides can be used so that the curtain can be hung on a sling track. (See accessories)
The bottom end is fitted with a coconut tape.
Optionally, a half coconut tape handle can be sewn on the left and/or right to make it easier to draw the curtain.
Straight curtain poles are standard. We can also realise curtain projects with round poles or poles around corners for you. Please upload a sketch as a picture in your client account. We will contact you.
Colour & care
Wool felt is a valuable, sustainable and durable material. Wool felt is made from 100% pure new wool without the addition of chemicals or recycled textiles, which is documented by the well-known wool seal. Wool felt is an unproblematic material in terms of care and cleaning. The fat content of the wool and the density of the material prevent dirt from penetrating quickly.

Care
Care is no problem with the right knowledge from our care instructions. You can find the care instructions under "Attachments" on the left.
Colours
Due to the lighting conditions during product photography and different screen settings, the colour of the product may not be reproduced authentically. Please note that the colour on your screen may differ from the actual product. Minor changes and slight inclusions of natural fibres on the surface are proof of the 100% natural origin of the material.
We can offer you our wool felt colour chart free of charge on request. The small material samples are approx. 2x4 cm in size, 2 mm thick and serve as a colour and quality sample. Our wool felt is available in over 40 colours and four thicknesses. Our felt is made from 100% virgin wool.

Measuring curtains.
The curtain should cover the total area you intend to cover - in the following
in the following text we refer to the area to be covered.
This is the case if the door frame or a section of wall in a passageway is also to be covered by the curtain in the width and/or height.
The picture shows the situation of an area that is to be covered by a felt curtain.

In this example, the area to be covered is 2.465 m x 3.2 m (2465 mm x 3200 mm).
Due to the drape, with a roll width of 1800 mm, an area of 1200 mm in width can be covered.
Therefore, you must purchase 2 partial curtains of 1200 mm each and one of 800 mm each.
In this case, order 3 individual curtains and be sure to upload a file or photo of the situation.
You can upload one or more files when you go to the checkout. You will then find these files in your customer account.
The individual curtain sections can also be sewn together on request.
